Do You Have Something Interesting to Say?
Do you have what it takes to write compelling, interesting articles and reviews? Then you may just be in line to become a Teacher’s Monthly author!
Our primary goal is to facilitate the sharing of high quality news, articles, reviews and resources to South African teachers. This takes a lot of time, and we could definitely use your help.
How to become a Teacher’s Monthly Author
Firstly, you need to have some experience as an author or blogger and you need to have an absolute passion for education. To us, a single article is great, but long term contributions are even better, so we need you to be passionate about the topic/s you want to write about.
Articles don’t have to be long or wordy, they just need to be interesting and of value. For example, you can discuss interesting lesson plans or teaching techniques, or review books, tools, software and hardware that you find helpful as a teacher. You could even share your opinions on the latest education-related news or have a good moan at the Department of Education (within reason!).
If you’ve got an education-related blog, then becoming a guest blogger or writer for the Teacher’s Monthly is a great way of gaining exposure for your blog. Further reading: Why Guest Blogging is a Powerful Way to Gain Exposure for Your Blog.
