We Eat, Breathe and Live Education!
Teacher’s Monthly started in 2007 as a simple e-mail magazine that we sent out to no more than 200 contacts. Today, we’ve increased to over 3,000 subscribers, so we decided to launch an online resource dedicated to … teachers!
Perhaps the most remarkable yet overlooked aspect of the South African teaching community is its enthusiastic, passionate spirit. Every day, thousands of talented, hard-working teachers gain new insight from their work and come up with brilliant, inventive and exciting ideas. Teacher’s Monthly aims to bring teachers closer and help them share knowledge and resources.
Our aim is twofold …
- To keep South African teachers updated and informed.
- To give teachers the opportunity to express their views and cultivate their interests.
Who Produces this Fantastic Resource?
There is a company behind Teacher’s Monthly called EvaluNet. They give us the tools and resources to carry out our aims. EvaluNet develops educational software and training for teachers and learners. They’re a national company, have been around since 1995 and believe in establishing long lasting relationships with their customers.
If you’re a teacher or principal, we suggest you visit EvaluNet’s website – www.evalunet.com.
And then of course, our star authors! We have a dedicated team of passionate writers, bloggers and reviewers who take education very seriously. These guys and girls write, source and develop all the content you read on our website and monthly magazine.
